Thermal Evaporator-Crystallizer
The DESALT VTR series evaporator-crystallizer is designed to treat scaling aqueous-based streams with a high solids content, such as saturated salt solutions. Its structural design allows for the production of a concentrated product that is as dry as possible.
It is available in versions with and without a condensation section. In the non-condensing version, the generated vapour is released directly into the atmosphere. When the crystallizer is equipped with a condensation section, condensation is carried out by supplying cooling water, allowing water recovery.
The standard equipment is designed to process 10 000 kg/day. If capacity expansion is required, multiple units can be integrated in parallel, sharing the structure and the electrical control panel.
The operation of the equipment is fully automatic - 24 hours a day.
