Condorchem Envitech provides two types of anaerobic reactors for the biological treatment of industrial wastewater.

UASB

The upflow anaerobic sludge blanket (UASB) reactor allows for the transformation of an effluent with a high organic load into a biogas and into a stabilised fertiliser. The effluent enters through the bottom of the reactor and crosses upwards a dense layer of sludge (blanket), which causes a filtering effect. A high reduction of the organic matter occurs and the biogas obtain can be used to generate energy.

RAFAC®

The upflow anaerobic contact reactor (RAFAC®) makes it possible to transform an effluent with a high organic load into a biogas and into a stabilised fertiliser. It is an optimised system as regards the UASB process, a fact that makes it possible to treat larger loads, maintaining high efficiency in eliminating organic matter.
