Project description
Gas Natural Fenosa has 2,375 MW of coal and gas-fired power stations in the world.
The La Robla Thermal Power Plant is a conventional coal-fired thermoelectric plant located near the Bernesga River in the municipality of La Robla in the province of León(Spain). It consists of 2 thermal groups of 284.2 and 370.7 MW.
The Narcea or Soto de la Barca thermal power station is a conventional cycle thermoelectric plant located near the river Narcea in the municipality of Tineo, Asturias, Spain. It has 3 thermal groups of 55.5, 166.6 and 364.1 MW, respectively.
Request: Treatment of 4 m3/h (La Robla) and 5.5 m3/h (Narcea) of wastewater from its Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) system.
Solution:
LA ROBLA: Complete plant with filtration pretreatment + physicochemical phase + ENVIDEST MFE-96.000 vacuum evaporator-crystallizer made of special anticorrosive material.
NARCEA: Complete plant with filtration pretreatment + physicochemical phase + ENVIDEST MFE-132.000 vacuum evaporator-crystallizer made of special anticorrosive material.
Results
ZLD with 94% recovery of treated water to process
Minimization of final waste for management (salts)
